Captain Andrew Poulos, Jr., CHS |
|
Andrew Poulos, Jr. is a Captain with the US Department of Defense Police (Fort Monmouth, New Jersey). Prior to coming to the Department of Defense Police, Andrew worked for the Stone Harbor Police Department (NJ), Delaware Department of Public Safety (DE), and the New Castle City Police Department (DE). He has been a member of several interagency task forces investigating the sale and manufacture of counterfeit documents and has trained federal, state and local law enforcement officers across the United States. Andrew has been published on the subjects of Counterfeit Identification, Homeland Security and Training Techniques in American Police Beat, Law Enforcement Technology and Policeone.com, and is a consultant to agencies across the nation regarding counterfeit document cases. Andrew’s instructor ratings include Firearms Instructor; Force-on-Force Simulation Master Instructor; Weapon Retention & Disarming Instructor; Defense Tactics Instructor; Tactical Folding Knife Instructor; Police Bicycle Patrol Instructor; FATS Instructor and is a certified instructor from the NJ Police Training Commission and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Most recently he was awarded the J. Edgar Hoover Memorial Gold Medal for Distinguished Public Service by the National Chiefs of Police Association and the professional designation of Certified in Homeland Security (CHS) from the American College of Forensic Examiners. Andrew is a member of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, ILEETA and is the Director of Law Enforcement Training Solutions. |

Lieutenant Chuck Cohen |
|
Chuck Cohen’s formal education includes a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an undergraduate degree from Indiana University with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He is a Lieutenant serving the Indiana State Police, where he has been employed for thirteen years. He is currently the Commander of the Special Investigation and Criminal Intelligence Sections. In this capacity, Lt. Cohen is responsible for the cyber crime, white collar crime, vehicle crime, and crimes against children units along with overseeing the department’s overt and covert criminal intelligence function. He is cross-designated as a Special Deputy United States Marshal. Before his current assignment, Chuck spent five years assigned to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana, where he conducted federal and state political corruption, organized economic crime, and cyber crime investigations. In the past, he has been assigned to various specialized investigative and enforcement assignments. Chuck speaks nationally on topics including cyber crime, online fraud, money laundering, corruption investigation, and the investigation of skilled criminal offenders. He is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University Bloomington, where he teaches Foundations of Criminal Investigation. He is a published author, including peer-reviewed material and the cover article for the March, 2007 Police Chief Magazine. Lieutenant Cohen as collateral duties and training in areas including: hostage/crisis negotiation, vehicle crash reconstruction, defense tactics instruction, and intermediate and chemical weapons instruction. |

Lieutenant Michael T. Cerame (Ret.) |
|
Michael T. Cerame is a 27 year veteran of the Middletown Township Police Department (NJ) where he retired as a Lieutenant and Commander of the Detective Bureau. He is a certified expert in polygraph testing and has held that certification since 1978. In 1985, Mike was selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to attend the first “Advanced Law Enforcement Polygraph Course” held at the FBI National Academy. For the past ten years, Mike has been a staff instructor with the Monmouth County Police Academy, conducting in-service training for experienced officers, and basic training for the new recruits. He also instructs the his Interview & Interrogation course for the FBI, National Park Service, New Jersey Attorney’s General Office, Division of Criminal Justice, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the International Association of Arson Investigators. |

Sergeant Bart Barnack (Ret,) |
|
Bart Barnack (Retired) is a 25 year veteran of the Daytona Beach Police Department (FL), retiring at the rank of Sergeant.. Bart has a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology an has, in addition, over 2500 hours of advanced training and has been an instructor since 1982. Bart’s instructor’s rating include firearms; defensive tactics, impact weapons, chemical agents, mobile field force, officer survival, police vehicles, and police boats. During his career, Bart participated in all aspects of police work to include: FTO, hostage negotiations, training, Detective in the organized crime unit and narcotics unit, patrol, and Marine Unit Supervisor. He was also an original member of the DBPD’s SWAT Team and became the co-team leader and lead instructor. In 2004, Bart was one of three police officers selected for a Department of Defense assignment in Counter Terrorism Special Operations Force, Task Force Baghdad. The other members were from military special units of the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In 2005, he was selected for Department of State assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan. Bart is also an adjunct instructor for the University of North Florida/IPTM and Daytona Beach Community College. |

Deputy Harry Teare |

Harry E. Teare II is a Deputy with the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Department, WV, with over 19 years law enforcement experience. Harry began his career as a Pennsylvania State Constable and has worked in various capacities in law enforcement to include police chief, police officer and sheriff’s deputy. Harry worked as a Firearms Instructor and Training Manager of the National Corrections and Law Enforcement Training and Technology Center where he has provided training to over 700 officers in multiple law enforcement disciplines. Harry is a NRA certified Law Enforcement Instructor as well as being a certified instructor in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. His instructor ratings include: Firearms Instructor, Tactical Shotgun, Tactical Handgun, Patrol Rifle Tactics, Select-Fire Firearms, Basic SWAT, SWAT Operations, Patrol Survival Tactics, 12 Gauge Impact Munitions, OC Aerosol and Use of Force. |

George P. Diorio |

George P. Diorio is the Force Protection Officer for the Department of the Army (Fort Monmouth, NJ) and Master Sergeant in the New Jersey Army National Guard. George has over 39 years experience in the military. George served as the Chief Physical Security Inspector (PSI) and the Assistant Force Protection Officer/Anti-Terrorism (ATO) for the Multi-National Division (N) SFOR 10, Task Force Eagle, Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina. He also served as the Force Protection Officer for Combat Support Center Cedar II, Iraq. George is a certified Senior Small Group Leader (SSGL) for the US Army and served as Chief Instructor for both the Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC) and the Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC). George has instructed for the Department of the Army in Germany, Bosnia and throughout the United States. George is a graduate of the US Army Military Police School Anti-Terrorism Program Manager and the Conventional Physical Security/Crime Prevention Course and numerous other courses in the discipline of security and terrorism. |

Patrolman Glen Sandull |
|
Glen Sandull, is a Patrolman and 11 year veteran of the Kenilworth Police Department in New Jersey. Glen is a graduate of Trenton State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Justice. During his college career, Glen posted over 100 victories on the mat, capped off by two Division III National titles at heavyweight. In 2006, he was inducted into the NCAA Coaches Hall of Fame for being a 3-Time All American and a 2-Time National Champion. After college, Glen broadened his knowledge of ground fighting by studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. A year of hard training led him to the submission grappling circuit where he had success winning and placing in several tournaments. In 2004, Glen finished in 2nd place at the Invitation Only Submission Grappling Championships, leaving him one win short to an invitation to the Abu Dhabi, the most prestigious submission tournament in the world. Still thirsty for more knowledge and eager to put his skills to the ultimate test, Glen entered the ring. With a total of six fights, he has a 3-2-1 record and is continuing his training for future fights and tournaments. Glen is a Certified Instructor of the United States Martial Arts Association and is an experienced instructor of ground fighting techniques for law enforcement officers. |

Lieutenant Herbert Williams |

Herbert Williams is a Lieutenant with the Woodbridge Township Police Department (NJ) where he is the Executive Officer of the Communications and Data Processing Division. Over the past twenty-one years, he has served as a Patrol Officer and Sergeant, and as Assistant Commander of the Patrol Division. He co-founded the Crime & Intelligence Analysis Unit, which he manages, and has been published on the subjects of Intelligence Analysis, Human Trafficking, and Grant Writing. Herb has trained officers across the US, as well as overseas for ICITAP. A charter member of the NJ State Attorney General’s Task Force on Human Trafficking, he is also an adjunct instructor for the NJ Division of Criminal Justice Academy. |

Dr. Timothy W. “TW” Sells |

Dr. Timothy W. “T.W.” Sells is the Officer in Charge of the Evidence Response and Property Control Unit of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office (NC) and former Assistant Jail Administrator. Over the past twenty-eight years, he has served as a District Commander of the Thomasville Police Department (NC) and the Assistant Chief of Police of the Denton Police Department (NC). Tim is a certified North Carolina Department of Justice Instructor and has trained law enforcement officers through North and South Carolina. He is a certified examiner of the National Institute for Truth Verification and a on the board of directions of the Southern Association of Certified Voice Stress Analysts . |

Officer Paul Long |

Paul Long is a Police Officer with the Belleville Police Department (NJ) and has been with the department for 23 years, serving in many different capacities in that time. He has had the experience of coming across animal sacrifices in local cemeteries and railroad systems. After taking preliminary reports he needed to know why people would do this. At the time there were not many lectures being offered on the subject of the occult. He began studying the occult from a local shop owner and gathered as much knowledge as he could. He has also studied under different high priests in Wicca Egyptian style, Shamanistic studies, Astrology, Cabala, Druid and the Celtic Ways. Because of his vast knowledge, Paul has helped many law enforcement agencies throughout the country, as well as worldwide, in solving subculture and occult related crimes and has lectured on the subject extensively. |

Sergeant Thomas A. Bradshaw, MPA, PPS |

Sergeant Bradshaw has been with the Virginia State Police for over twenty years. Prior to his appointment, he was a Suffolk Police Officer for 7 years. He is currently the Lieutenant Unit Commander and Executive Officer of the Executive Protection Unit - Office of the Governor, providing dignitary protection to the Governor and the First Family in Richmond, VA and has done since May of 1994. Sergeant Bradshaw has served as lead advance Agent within the Unit and was responsible for high profile events such as the 2002 Gubernatorial Inauguration; 2001 Presidential Inauguration; 2000 Democratic National Convention; and other major events. He was the lead advance in several European Trade Missions working closely with the US Embassy and foreign federal, state and local authorities to ensure success of the missions. Sergeant Bradshaw was formerly assigned to the Virginia State Police Bureau of Field Operations where was a member of an elite SWAT/Anti-Terrorist Tactical Unit. Sergeant Bradshaw has a BA in Governmental Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Christopher Newport University. He is a Virginia DCJS certified instructor and has instructed both domestically and internationally on the topic of executive and dignitary protection. |

Chief Investigator Dean Reynoldson |

Dean Reynoldson is the Chief Investigator for the Kansas Department of Revenue in charge of the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Identity Security Unit. Among his duties is investigating driver’s licenses fraud and identity fraud. These cases include investigations of organized fraud rings as well as cases that have potential homeland security ramifications. Reynoldson is part of the FBI Public Corruption Task Force and routinely works with agents from ICE, Secret Service, Diplomatic Security Service, SSA OIG, DOL OIG and HUD OIG. Reynoldson is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer and a Certified Public Manager. He has an undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Reynoldson teaches criminal justice classes in an adjunct capacity for Washburn University, including International Crime and Corruption. Reynoldson has been investigating crimes involving fraud for 18 years and his expertise in the detection of fraudulent identification documents is acknowledged on a national level. Reynoldson routinely trains Kansas law enforcement officers on recognition of counterfeit identification documents and imposter detection. |
