The Courtroom Testimony for Law Enforcement is comprehensive one day, 8-hour program designed to provide the knowledge, skills and specialized expertise necessary of today’s professional law enforcement officer when appearing in court.  Those attending will learn valuable techniques in effective oral and written communication, the impact of dress and demeanor upon the perception of the court, verbal and nonverbal communication, questions and the power behind them, and presenting effective courtroom testimony.

Participants will first learn how to effectively prepare for courtroom testimony by recognizing the critical value and importance of the ABC’s within all investigative reports: Accuracy, Brevity, and Clarity.  Officers will discover new and innovative approaches and techniques to assist the, in navigating the many aspects of direct and cross-examination.

The program is recommended for Patrol Officers, Detectives, Criminal Investigators and Arson Investigators.
