Law Enforcement Training Solutions, Homeland Security Training Division, in conjunction with Tactical Training Solutions, Inc, presents the School Violence: Responding to Active Shooters / Terrorists, a comprehensive 2 day (16 hour) training program designed to instruct law enforcement officers, fire fighters, dispatchers and school officials how to respond to active shooters/terrorists on school property.  School Violence has been part of police response since the 1960’s.  Terrorists throughout the world have used schools to their advantage.  Attendees will develop skills that are effective to respond to these events and resolve them..

The course features the history of school violence and how terrorists target schools for attack.  How the police department, fire department, dispatchers, school officials and the community can prepare now before and incident to reduce the loss of live.

Attendees will be instructed in theory, tactics, firearms drills and team work.  A practical exercises will be included in this course.  This course is designed to benefit the students, parents and the whole community not just the police department.  Attendees will be able to educate students, teachers and parents their roles in the event an incident was to take place in their community.
